Vegan Sour Cream


  • 1 cup of non-dairy yogurt: I prefer coconut (Raglan brand)
  • Juice of a lemon
  • Salt


  1. It’s simple! Stir all ingredients together. Taste it, and adjust to your taste, adding more lemon if it needs to be more acidic, or more yogurt if it needs to be less acidic.

Zero Waste Tip: Try to find a yogurt that comes in glass or cardboard. Glass is 100% recyclable, unlike plastic, or re-use the jar! Cardboard can go in your compost. Or, better, yet, make your own yogurt at home! Starter kits can be bought online, or possibly at your local grocery store.
